ICT in Robert Bruce is run by two experienced and enthusiastic members of staff who follow a creative and engaging scheme of work making ICT an integral part of the curriculum across all four year groups.

 

 

In addition to having two fully equipped computer rooms we also have two class sets of laptops that can be taken to any class to support the learning of any subject whether ICT, cross-curricular work or for supporting pupils with special needs and other networked computers throughout the school.  All pupils have access to the learning platform that enables them to communicate effectively with their classmates, teachers and access their work and lessons from any internet accessed computer.  The school follows the QCA schemes of work for ICT which covers a variety of software packages, the internet, e-mail and other information technologies and skills such as web-design, sensors, and controlled robots and how to use technology safely.

 

 

There are seven Foundation Subjects, plus Religious Education and Drama, in the National Curriculum:

Art, Design, Geography, History, Modern Foreign Languages (French and German), Music, Physical Education.
